Kenya is estimated to have over 2.8 million orphans and vulnerable children. A whopping 47 percent of these children are said to be orphaned as a result of HIV and AIDS. The focus is often on the HIV and AIDS patients themselves, not on the children they leave behind. These children often face double tragedy as Society leaves them behind, making their vulnerability even worse. Hundreds of thousands of other Kenyan children are also vulnerable due to other factors. Little Angels Network Society believes that none of these children should ever be left behind. We seek to grant them lasting care through adoption, kinship, foster care, mediation or family preservation and strengthening.
