Children are my passion. Ensuring the welfare of vulnerable children is my life calling. Little Angels Network Society is an amazing platform for me to provide leadership in ensuring the welfare of the African child as a whole and the Kenyan Child in particular.
In the absence of concrete and sustainable results, leadership is rendered impotent. For nearly fifteen years, LANS has given me an amazing chance to leadership in child welfare issues. Indeed, LANS has provided concrete solutions to thousands of Kenyan children. We have done this by placing hundreds into adoptive families and hundreds more into alternative care like kinship.
But for me, it is never about cold data but the actual lives of children who deserve bright futures and caring families. Although we have had a measure of success in transforming the lives of thousands of vulnerable children, the road ahead remains long and bumpy. My personal commitment is to ensure that both my organization and networks never cease soldiering on as we ensure that yet another child becomes part of this journey. That one child is our focus and my firm commitment.
